Job Description
The Clinical Pharmacist I is responsible for acute care medication processes, including:
- Prospective medication order review
- Sterile compounding
- Medication dispensing
- Oversight of pharmacy technicians
Experience Requirements
- Preferred: 2 years of experience
- Minimum: 1 year of experience considered
Required Qualifications
- Licensure: Oklahoma Pharmacy license
- Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) as applicable
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) as applicable
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) as applicable
- CHEMO (Chemotherapy) as applicable
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) as applicable
- Tech Cert Verification - National as applicable
- HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement
- State License Verification
- NURSYS Verification (for RN, LPN/LVN, AP) as applicable
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) as applicable
- NIH Stroke Certification as applicable
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) as applicable
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
- Color Blind Testing Online
- Competency Exam
- Core Parts I, II, III (for Subs only)
Health and Safety Requirements
- Physical Exam: Within 12 months of start
- Fit Test: Required within 1 year of start
- Vaccinations:
- Adult TDAP Vaccine within 10 years of start
- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray within 1 year of start
- Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella vaccinations or titers
- Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days of start
- Flu Seasonal Vaccination/Documentation for 2024-25
- COVID-19 Vaccination (Dose 1 and 2 if applicable)
Background and History Checks
- 7 Year Background Check: Required within 1 year of start
- EPLS/GSA/SAM Check: Required upon hire
- HHS/OIG Check: Required upon hire
- References: 2 Professional References for Travel, Allied, Per Diem Acute Care; 1 Professional Reference for Per Diem Non-Acute Care (within 2 years of start)
- Education Verification: Required to verify highest level of education
Additional Information
- Internal Requirements: I9 and E-Verify required for direct candidates; attestation required for Sub candidates.
- Documentation: Clear headshot required for all candidates; complete application/resume required.
