Job Description
- Position/Specialty: Pediatric Cardiac ICU/CVICU/CICU
- Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year (first-timers not accepted)
- Weekend Requirement: Yes, 3 of 6 weekends
- Certifications Required:
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- On-call Requirement: No
- Floating: Yes, to MSICU, MICU, NICU, ACCU
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift Rotation: 50/50 Day/Night rotation (7a/7p or permanent nights)
Special Requirements
- Pediatric critical care experience
- Pre/post-operative experience with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD)

Health and Compliance Requirements
- Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
- Additional certifications may be required based on specific units.
- Background Check: 10-year criminal background check required.
- References: 2 professional references from the last 3 employers.
- Health Documents:
- Physical exam required within the year of start.
- Immunization records for Tdap, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, and TB testing.
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccination documentation required.
Onboarding Process
- Candidates will receive an onboarding packet 2 weeks prior to the start date.
- Various forms and health documents must be completed and submitted as part of the onboarding process.
