Job details

Follows the prescribed techniques in administering all types of procedures.
Maintains working inventory of supplies.
Prepares patient for procedures, explains procedure, assists patient to and from exam room.
Prepares contrast agents and other materials in accordance with procedure.
Observes equipment and patient and reports unusual occurrences.
Cleans and disinfects procedure room and equipment.
Develops film in accordance with photographic techniques.
Performs general office duties.
Uses proper radiation safety techniques.
May be required to perform in more than one modality. Duties could be any three of: Diagnostic, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Angio.
Transports patients.
Performs quality control and quality assurance duties as assigned.
Train other staff members as required.
Assess equipment needs with Director.

Job requirements

Must have BLS certifications (Must be through the American Heart Association); RQI certifications will not be accepted.
Must have Cath Lab tech/Interventional Radiology experience.
Must have 2+ years experience in a hospital setting.

Schedule information

The shifts will be Monday - Friday 7a-5p (5) 8's.
Weekend call rotation for NM from 7am-7pm.

Additional Details

PET experience would be a plus but not required.

The People Are The Absolute Best!!

I cannot say enough about the people who are currently here! I just love them all, from the Director to the Therapists to the Doctor and Nurses… The culture is so welcoming and like a big family that has each other’s backs. I’m so grateful to have gotten the chance to work here and I would gladly apply for the full-time position if relocating my family up here was an option. I can’t imagine a better assignment, and I will miss everyone when I leave!
