JOB SUMMARY: The Certified Nursing Assistant partners with our residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care.

Valid on the State of Maine CNA registry

Experience: 1-3 years previous CNA experience preferred

Will consider new CNA's with relevant work experience

Other Skills Required: Medical terminology preferred

Strong teamwork and communication skills required

The ability to work well within a team of other care providers

Flexibility required to cover 24 hours/day, 7 days per week

Flexibility to float to other units as needed

An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.

**Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid

**St. Mary's has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13 week contract

Candidate must reside outside of a 50 mile radius.
