- Perform diagnostic MRI and X-ray examinations while ensuring quality, efficiency, and continuity of patient care and image exam throughout and workflow.
- Previous experience in healthcare required.
- Minimum 1 year previous MRI Tech experience preferred.
- Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Schedule 4x10.
- Performs all MRI examinations according toVail Health protocols.
- Performs all radiographic examinations according to Vail Health protocols.
- Identifies each patient and reviews exam order for consistency of examination ordered with clinical diagnosis.
- Maintain constructive collaborative communication with patients, patient's family, physicians, co-workers and other members of health care team to contribute to continuity of care.
- Maintains established department policies and procedures, objectives, confidentiality, quality assurance, safety, environmental standards, radiation protection standards, infection control standards, and universal precautions.
- Monitor supply inventory and notify appropriate staff for ordering when stock is low. Keep exam and dressing rooms stocked and neat.
- Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye/hand coordination.
