  • PCU RN (7 West)
  • 13 weeks
  • days 7a-7p
  • - Fast-paced work environment with an average of 5-10 discharges/admits daily
  • - Care for patients from outlying areas who seek specialty services
  • - Focus on acute and chronic management of heart failure patients presenting in crisis, acute cardiac events and illnesses, exacerbation of chronic cardiac disease.
  • - High acuity patients- IV medical management, hi-flow oxygen, impaired immobility due to venous congestion
  • - Manage patients post cardiac catheterization and/or cardioversion
  • Currently 1:5 ratios for PCU (goal is 1:4)
  • All travelers are expected to float as needed within acuity
    Job requirements
  • BLS and ACLS required
  • ALL RTO MUST BE SENT UP FRONT WITH SUBMITTAL
