• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 5x8s, 11 PM - 7 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Patient Ratio: 1:5 on LTACH side, 1:6 on Rehab side

Job Description

• Must have a valid Massachusetts nursing license.
• Requires 1+ years of experience in MedSurg, LTAC, or ICU.
• IV certification preferred (will need to perform IVs).
• RNs will conduct full patient assessments for start of care.

Required Certifications

• ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (from AHA or American Red Cross)
• BLS: Basic Life Support (preferably from AHA or American Red Cross)
• PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (preferably from AHA or American Red Cross)
• Tech Certification Verification: As applicable
• State License Verification: Primary source online verification

Health Documents

• Physical Exam: Within 1 year of start
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray: Within 1 year of start
• TB Questionnaire: Required for all travelers
• Vaccination Records:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella (Chicken Pox)
• Drug Testing: Negative 10 panel drug test required prior to start
• Flu Vaccination: Required during flu season (August - April)
• COVID-19 Vaccination: Required, with daily testing for exemptions

Background Checks

• Standard background check (updated annually)
• MA Nurse Aide Registry Search (required for all travelers in MA)
• Massachusetts Statewide iCORI Clearance (Attestation required)

References

• 2 Professional References required for Travel, Allied, Per Diem Acute Care
• 1 Professional Reference required for Per Diem Non-Acute Care
