Job Description

• Position: Respiratory Therapist
• Responsibilities:

  • Set up invasive and non-invasive respiratory equipment throughout the hospital.
  • Perform arterial blood gases (ABGs), administer nebulizers and inhalers, and conduct EKGs.
  • Attend all C-sections and high-risk deliveries, including bubble CPAP.

Employment Details

• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift Details:

  • 3x12s alternating shifts
  • 2 day shifts per week: 6 AM - 6:30 PM
  • 1 night shift per week: 6:30 PM - 7 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend (night shift).

Qualifications

• Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year
• Certifications Required:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • PAS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
  • Wisconsin State License
• On-call Requirement: Participation in call rotation (2-3 hours following scheduled shift, approximately 2-3 call shifts per schedule period).

Additional Information

• Local Candidates: Not accepted (70 miles radius rule).
• Pending License: Accepted at manager’s discretion.
• Guaranteed Hours: Minimum of 36 hours/week for 3x12-hour shifts; 48 hours/week for 4x12-hour shifts.
• RTO Restrictions: Request RTO upfront; participation in holiday and weekend rotation may be required.
