Job Description

• Assists in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders.
• Collects and analyzes sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases.
• Measures lung capacity to assess impaired function.
• Administers treatments prescribed by a physician for patients with breathing abnormalities.
• Oversees respiratory therapy technicians.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of current experience required.
• Certifications:

  • RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) - Required
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and CPFT (Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist) - Highly Preferred
• Travel Experience: Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
• Transportation: Traveler must have their own vehicle.

Additional Information

• Local travelers (those residing within 50 miles of the facility) will not be considered for this position.
• No non-billable orientation.
