- - Checks work and resolved errors timely.
- - Equipment maintenance: ensures proper care and handling of all equipment and ensures that preventable damage does not occur.
- - Maintains electrodes, headboxes and other peripheral equipment to protect integrity and ensure long-term viability.
- - Professionalism: timely and respectful communication with nursing staff, physicians, and colleagues.
- - Promotes self-growth and development.
- - Collaborating as needed to ensure a satisfactory experience to the patient.

- - 2 years of Electroneurodiagnostic (END) technology experience.
- - Excellent communication skills. Listens well, speaks, and writes clearly and concisely.
- - Competent in head measurement and electrode placement.
- - Competent in Routine, Sleep Deprived and Ambulatory EEG and Long-Term Monitoring and all evoked potentials and continuous ICU monitoring.
- - Competent in clipping, pruning and data archiving.
- - Competent in continuous monitoring of EMU EEG studies, including the ability to recognize events and immediately call for nursing response.
- - Competent in Phase II long term monitoring: including but not limited to intraoperative planning of grid and strip placement, programing of computer for grid and strip monitoring, maintain and connect phase II lead wires with cable interface, dressing changes with Nurse Practitioner assistance.
- - Competent in bedside functional mapping.
- - Competent with EEG monitoring during WADA procedures as well as EEG digitization methods
- - Engages others to foster further development of AHS core values and mission.
- - Knowledge of basic computer anatomy and peripherals, as well as, basic skills.
- - Knowledge of END equipment.
- - Knowledge of computer information systems for billing, transport, accessing face sheets.
Job requirements
- - Hospital experience preferred but not required.
