Job details

A hospital in Southern Idaho is in need of a Labor and Delivery RN to work a 13 week travel assignment. The nurse will be working 12 hour shifts.

Job requirements

L&D, PP, and circulating experience required; triage experience strongly preferred.
RNs required to titrate drips.
Experience with Pitocin, mag, and rarely insulin.

Schedule information

12-hour shifts, 7a-7p and 7p-7a.
Per hospital policy staff cannot work more than five shifts in a row.
Staff to accommodate traveler schedule requests outside of approved time off.
Weekend requirements: based on unit needs
Holiday requirements: based on unit needs

Unit specific information

# of Births per month: About 120 per month on average.
Charge RN, Resource RN, and House Supervisor on each shift.
CNA for floor (L&D/PP/NICU) 4-5 days and nights/week.
Unit clerk 24/7.
OB hospitalist 24/7, midwives always on call.
Neonatal NP 24/7 and Neonatologist on call available within 15 min.
CRNA 24/7.
GE Connect EFM System

Additional Details

Travelers required to float to like units within valley (Nampa L&D and Boise L&D).
Customized orientation based on each traveler, typically 4-6 shifts.
Facility has a radius rule of 50 miles.
