Job Description

• Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with patients from medical, surgical, and cardiac service lines.
• Patient care responsibilities may include:

  • Arterial lines
  • Central Venous Pressure (CVP) monitoring
  • Vasopressor drips
  • Surgical tubes and drains
  • CPAP and BiPAP
  • Mechanical ventilation via endotracheal tube (ETT) or tracheostomy

Patient Assignments

• Expected patient-to-nurse ratio: 1:3
• Assignments will be based on patient acuity.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Additional Information

• Travelers may be required to float to other locations, including Adena Greenfield, Adena Fayette, and Adena Pike.
• RNs will be floated to similar areas.
• Work schedule includes every other weekend.
• Certifications required: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
