Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment. 2 years experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry/neuro unit required. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
- Active NM or compact license

- Travelers must pass the BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmia) testing during first week of assignment
- 12 hour day shift position
- Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs
- On call, weekends and holidays may be required
- Will float to med/surg
- Will float to ICU to care for tele patients boarding in ICU
- Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands
- NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS (updated 10.10.2024)
- Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position
- Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location
- State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice
- The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico
