• Shift: Nights
• Schedule: 36-12 or 40-8 hours

Qualifications

Required

• California RN License
• BLS Certification
• 1 year of Hospice experience

Preferred

• BSN, MSN, or currently enrolled in an RN-BSN program

Job Responsibilities

• Adhere to the Code of Ethics and maintain professional behavior.
• Identify high-risk patients and initiate interventions.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and act as an advocate for patients.
• Deliver care in a nonjudgmental and nondiscriminatory manner.
• Utilize the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and interdisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to formulate care plans.

Additional Information

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Mileage Reimbursement: 70 cents per mile for personal vehicle use

Certifications Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Additional certifications may be required based on unit specifics (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP).

Health and Safety Requirements

• Current immunization records or proof of immunity.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
• Drug screening and background checks are required.

Documentation Required

• Current/valid government-issued photo identification.
• Professional license copies.
• Resume/Application with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
