Shifts: 3x12s, Nights (7 PM - 7 AM), Every Other Weekend, Holidays as needed
Call: No Call

Job Description

Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years; No First-Time Travelers
Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - Preferred
Specialized Skills:
- Orthopedic and Trauma Experience required
- Specialization in pre-op and post-op ortho
- Experience with elective and trauma patients
Patient Ratio: 1:6 (possible stretch to 7)
Electronic Health Record System: EPIC required

Responsibilities

Utilize Rapid Response Teams
Handle Total Hip, Knee, and Shoulder Replacements and Repairs; Ortho Trauma
Use Safe Patient Handling equipment and Ortho equipment including CPM, Knee Immobilizer, Bone Foam, etc.

Health and Safety Requirements

Vaccinations:
- Proof of Adult Tdap Vaccine
- Flu Vaccine or Medical/Religious Exemption
- COVID-19 Vaccination or Declination
Drug Testing: Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen required within 30 days of start.

References

References Required: 2 supervisory references for clinical positions, with specific timeframes for previous assignments.
