Job details

This is a traveling contract position for a Registered Nurse specialized in stroke (neuro) patient population at Alamance Regional Medical Center. The job includes a 13-week contract with a schedule of 3x12s night shifts, including every other weekend and holidays as needed. The traveler is required to have 2+ years of experience, first-time travelers are acceptable. Required to float between all Cone Health facilities when necessary.

Job requirements

Minimum 2 yrs experience required.
EPIC experience preferred.
Telemetry - remote monitoring experience required.
Feeding tube care and management required.
Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs experience.
Experience with CVA, Nasal Cannula treatment.
Competency in managing isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac.
Patient ratios experience - 1:5-6.

Schedule information

3x12s night shifts (7p-730a).
Every other weekend, holidays as needed.
Float REQUIRED - All travelers subject to float between ALL Cone Health facilities.

Additional Details

Government-issued Photo ID required.
Social Security Card required for badge purposes.
