- Perm candidates of any OTHER providence facility ( NON SWEDISH ) are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months.
- All Swedish facilities honor active compact license.
- First Time Traveler OK.
- Minimum experience required-2 years. Screen for less than 2 years or no experience with C-Sections. SCREEN IF INTERMEDIATE AWHONN ONLY For manager Approval.
- Float required to Postpartum unit.
- High Risk Antepartum- 6 weeks to 41 weeks.
- PTL, previa, preeclampsia, diabetes, hypertension, prom, twins, substance use disorder in pregnancy.
- Care of fetal demise or loss of patients both antepartum and postpartum, postpartum mother with baby in NICU, no newborns on this unit.
- Must provide valid Washington State nursing license.
- 2 years minimum nursing experience required.
- Completion of AWHONN Advanced certification.
- BLS certification is required.
- NRP certification is required.
- 3 weekend shifts only per 6 weeks vs the traditional 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule.
- 50% less weekend shifts.
- Unit Details: Support of amnio or sterile spec exam at the bedside, PCA Pumps, PICC/Central Lines, Syringe Pumps, Heparin, Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate.
- Float Policy Acknowledgement required. Traveler may be required to float to another Providence facility within a reasonable distance.
