A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Physical Therapist. The right candidate will have 2+ years of experience.

Job requirements

The right candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in specialty, must have at least 1 year of acute care hospital experience, open to first-time travelers.
2+ years of experience, hold an active BLS and CA license.

Schedule information

Shifts: 4 10 hr shifts for PT 7am-5:30pm
Weekend Requirement: will work every 3rd weekend
Holidays: work into perm staff rotation for all modalities

Unit specific information

Unit: Rehab (PT, OT, & Speech)
PT has team leader when manager is not there.
Shifts: 4 10 hr shifts for PT 7am-5:30pm

Additional Details

COVID Vaccine Required
Scrub Color: polo style shirt or a button down long sleeve (burgundy in color), dark (solid) pants, no scrubs allowed
No floating
Common diagnosis / Types of patients: cardiac, stroke (facility is stroke certified), ortho, ICU, neuro, medsurg primarily; they have a pediatrics ward that is low volume case load, also neonatal ICU, travelers not required to work NICU and are not required to have exp with NICU or pediatrics.

Pros

Team is very friendly. Easy to work with and very hard working. The schedule is 4 10 hour shifts. Some on call and yes work on weekends days but no bad at all. The machines are new Phillips.
