Works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice.

Carries out functions according to hospital policy, the hospital mission, and standards of practice defined by professional and regulatory guidelines.

Directs, coordinates and delegates activities in order to foster patient/family centered care.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.

Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.

Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.

Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.

Assumes personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment and professional development.

Michigan license verification is required for nurses - LARA

Physical copies of certifications required

Must complete McLaren Per Diem Application Questionnaire.

Full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.

Orientation: 8 hour shifts will have 8 hours NBO, 12 hour shifts will have 12 hours NBO

Scrub Color: Royal Blue Scrubs

Once Offer Acceptance is received, AHSA will send confirmation details to the facility

Facility will have 48 hours to 'name clear' clinician eligible for work

AHSA will inform agency that the clinician has been 'name-cleared' & is ready to start compliance
