    Job details
  • Social Worker (LCSW) position available at Brattleboro Retreat. Start date is firm on 12/9 with a requirement to work every weekend. Under general supervision, responsible for providing clinical/case management services to patients across the lifespan including Child/Adolescent and Adult populations.
    Job requirements
  • Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work or behavioral health discipline - REQUIRED
  • Must be registered on the Roster of Psychotherapists with the State of Vermont Office of Professional Regulation prior to employment - REQUIRED
  • Flexible 40-hour work week scheduled to meet the needs of patients within the guidelines of the bargaining agreement - REQUIRED
  • Experience with children and adolescents - REQUIRED
  • One to two years of inpatient social work experience - preferred
  • Profile must include psych experience and age groups, units such as Medical social worker, Behavioral health social worker, Long term care social worker must be listed on resume
  • RTO cannot exceed 7 days, with certain blackout dates specified
    Schedule information
  • 40-hour flexible work week to meet patient needs. Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays based on the facility’s needs.

  • Brattleboro is a foodie’s paradise with restaurants, pubs, and breweries. The town is also rich in arts with theaters, galleries, and boutiques. Outdoor activities available include swimming, fishing, canoeing, and biking tours. RTO will not be approved for 12/22-1/5.

My assignment was in March 2022: As an LPN, worked as a tech and as a nurse on the floor so I was able to understand the process and patients better. The team work was great. Everyone took their job seriously. The food in the cafeteria was healthy and tasty.
