  • Target Ratios: 1:5-6
  • Shift: 12 hr NIGHTS; 36 or 48 hours accepted. If 48, then no OT billed until after 48 hours.
  • Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays!
  • Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team.
  • Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster.
  • Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed
  • No Christmas RTO

  • Traveler Experience: Accepts 1st time travelers
  • Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
  • Skills: MED/Surg, Telemetry-remote monitoring, IV insulin protocols, Colostomy Care, Feeding tube care & management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin, PCA, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral Suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac
    Schedule information
  • Shift: 12 hr NIGHTS
  • 36 or 48 hours accepted
  • Scheduling type: based on unit needs
  • RTO: 7 days MAX; No Christmas RTO
  • Floating Requirement: Floating required
  • Weekend Requirement: 12-16 per contract

    Additional Details
  • Patient Diagnoses: dementia, diabetes, dementia, COVID, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, encephalopathy, GI bleed, anemia, hip fracture. Typical M/S diagnoses plus COVID
  • Special Procedures/Unit Details: Isolation area for COVID patients, multi level care to include stepdown (cared for by stepdown staff, not M/S staff)
  • Unit Systems (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, Epic, SBAR
