Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years required
  • Licenses/Certifications:
    • New Jersey License Required
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • Skills:
    • Scrub and circulate required
    • Familiarity with sterile procedures, equipment setup, closure devices, EKOS
    • Experience with GE and Phillips Angio Suites
    • Proficient in EPIC: Radiant and Q-site charting
  • On-Call Requirements: Maximum of 3 nights in a seven-day period from 5 PM to 7 AM
  • Scheduling: No block scheduling; every other weekend and holiday required

  • First-time travelers are accepted.

  • Scrubs: Provided by the hospital.

Certifications Required

  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (specific requirements may vary by unit)
  • BLS: Basic Life Support
  • NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (specific units)
  • CPI: Crisis Prevention Institute (for ER and Behavioral Health RNs)
  • NIH Stroke Certification: Required for Adult Critical Care Specialties
  • Drug Testing: Required within 30 days of start
  • Background Check: Required within 30 days of start
