Job Description

• Experience Required:

  • 2 Years MSTele/PCU Experience
  • Epic Experience Required
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Weekend Work: Yes
• On-Call: No
• Holidays: Must work Mardi Gras week and 2 of the 3 winter holidays
• Floating: Must float across all 5 units requiring MS Tele and PCU Experience

Skills and Qualifications

• Required Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIH (National Institutes of Health)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• Preferred Certification:

  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
• Additional Skills:

  • Must have worked in a cardiac tele unit with experience in administering cardiac medications (e.g., cardizem, amiodarone) and interpreting cardiac strips.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks
