Shifts & Scheduling: 7a,7p, 7p-7a, rotating days and nights – cannot guarantee blocked scheduling
Weekend Requirement: 2 out of 6 weekend minimum requirement; may be asked to fill in as needed on additional weekends
If on straight nights/block scheduling - it will be every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Yes, will consider RTO if given ahead of time

Unit specific information

# of Beds: 25 (max census in recent months 12-14 patients)
Nurse: Patient Ratios: Days: 1:4-5, Nights: 1:5-6 (If a patient is truly critical, the nurse will only have 1:1 or 1:2)
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Peds to Geriatrics
Various types of equipment
Charge Nurse role
Nurse aids/patient care techs on the unit
How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation? 2 days, minimum

ACLS, BLS, PALS; Must have skills or detailed specialties

Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity
RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions
