Job Description

• Position: Cardiovascular Scrub Tech
• Experience Required: 2 years of current and previous experience
• Shift: 8-hour shifts, on-call required
• Orientation: Bi-weekly
• Start Date: Immediate upon acceptance

Requirements

Certifications

• BLS: Required for all RNs, Respiratory Therapists, and CT Techs.
• ACLS: Required for all RNs except those in Psych and True Med/Surg units.

Licenses

• Kentucky License: Must have a Kentucky or compact license for KY ARH facilities.

Health Requirements

• COVID-19 Vaccine: Proof of vaccination required, exemptions accepted with proper documentation.
• MMR: Proof of 2 vaccinations or a positive titer required.
• Hepatitis B: Proof of vaccination series or declination accepted.
• Varicella: Proof of 2 vaccinations or a positive titer required.
• Annual Physical: Must be signed by a licensed medical professional, stating the candidate is clear to work.
• TB Testing: Proof of negative blood test or skin test required, with specific guidelines for positive records.

Background Checks

• Criminal Background Check: Must be completed within 30 days prior to start.
• Professional References: 2 references required; one from a charge nurse or higher and one from a supervisor within the last year.

Additional Information

• Assignment Confirmation: Must be uploaded within 24 hours of acceptance.
• Annual Updates: Required for various health and professional credentials.

• Candidates must reside within 100 miles of the facility to be considered.
