Job Description
- Position/Specialty: MS Float Pool RN
- Schedule: 3x12 hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM), totaling 36 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Rotation: Required
- Floating: Will float to medical-surgical floors at the Main hospital and Ashley River Tower
- Patient Ratios: May vary depending on the unit assigned
Qualifications
- Experience: 2 years of nursing experience preferred; first-timers accepted
- License Requirement: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License
- Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - required for specific units
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - required for pediatric units
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - required for specific units
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - not required for ER RNs
Additional Information
- Local Radius: 60 miles; locals accepted on a case-by-case basis
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
- Block Schedule: Open to accommodating block schedules with manager approval

- Annual TB Questionnaire
- Drug screening (10 panel) required within 90 days of start
- Fit test for N95 masks required within 90 days prior to start
- Background Check: Required for all travelers, including verification of last 3 clinical employers

- Education Verification: Required, with a copy of diploma or transcripts preferred
