BMT(14 & 15W James) - Oncology - D/N OR NIGHTS - CHEMO CERTIFICATION REQUIRED / Mixed acuity PCU and MS unit
No set schedule, no set weekends, no block schedule. The facility determines the complete schedule, which may include working every weekend. Must be flexible. Maximum 1-2 days RTO (Requested Time Off).
Experience: Must have MS and oncology experience in checklist (1 year minimum)
Patient Diagnoses: Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), Acute Myeloid Leukemia (Adult), Amyloidosis, Aplastic Anemia, Chronic Leukemia, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL), Chronic Myeloid (Myelogenous) Leukemia, Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma, Myelodysplastic Syndrome, Myeloproliferative Disorders, Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma
Special Procedures/Unit Details: Autologous Transplants, Syngeneic Transplants, Allogeneic Transplants, CAR-T Therapy

Job requirements

Experience required: 1 year minimum MS and Oncology experience
Experience with Telemetry monitoring
Ability to interpret dysrhythmias
Capable of using Rapid Response Teams
Experience in feeding tube care and management
Experience in blood product administration
Skillful in central line blood draw and peripheral line care/management
Ability to manage PICC lines
Knowledge of Nasal cannula administration

No set schedule
No set weekends, no block schedule
Facility determines the complete schedule; may include working every weekend
Must be flexible
Maximum 1-2 days RTO (Requested Time Off)

Unit specific information

Mixed acuity PCU and MS unit
Autologous Transplants: Patients receive their own stem cells
Syngeneic Transplants: Patients receive stem cells from their identical twin
Allogeneic Transplants: Patients receive stem cells from their sibling, parent, or an unrelated donor
CAR-T Therapy

Additional Details

Residency Declaration Form required if using a compact license from any state other than Ohio
Check UD/Unit Cost Center Link to determine certifications required per unit
AHA only (Instructor/Provider and RQI acceptable), letter of completion not acceptable
Travelers can renew ACLS and BLS at the facility (instructions provided by Lead CL)
Required Certification for ER, ER OB, and ER Psych
Surgical Technologists: National cert not required
License Verification required within 30 days of start
Dress Code: For candidate to review and initial via DocuSign
EPLS/GSA/SAM required monthly

Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Training Certificate required
