- Guaranteed Hours: Yes, up to 36 hours. All OR nurses and OR Techs on 12-hour shifts are scheduled for an additional 4 hours to help cover breaks and lunches. 12 hour OR nurses and OR Techs will be guaranteed 40 hours per week.
- Special Requirements: Must be culturally sensitive to Native Population
- Alaska State License Required. Needs to apply ASAP if needed. Can use out of state compact license with facility approval and proof of AK application.
- Travelers may checking nurses off who need to be PICU trained. They would have PICU assignments but with an orientee.
- Weekend REQ: Every Other
- Open to accommodating block schedule? Yes, unit does block
- Pediatric floor ratios are 1:4. PICU 1:2. Ventilated patients are usually 1:1 due to the geography of the unit and the difficulty of doubling up ventilated patients.
- RTO Restrictions: We are not accepting any changes to contracts once signed. This INCLUDES: Additional RTO, Start Dates, Shifts, Bill Rates etc. Please ensure ALL details of the contract are agreed upon PRIOR to signing.
