Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for:

• Assessing the physiological, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients within the assigned unit.
• Planning and executing nursing care to meet those needs.
• Conducting patient evaluations and documenting patient progress.
• Performing treatment planning and discharge functions.

Requirements

• Experience:

  • 2 years of current CVICU experience (required)
  • Open-heart experience (required)
  • Prior Cerner experience (strongly preferred)
  • Thoracic, vascular, interventional experience (preferred)

• Licensure:

  • Copy of agency's Illinois nursing license must be included in submission (required)
  • Active nursing license at the time of submission (required)

• Vaccination:

  • COVID and FLU vaccination required (declinations will not be approved)
  • Vaccination status must be included in the profile

• Documentation:

  • Resume
  • Skills checklist (within 1 year)
  • 2 supervisory references
  • Active certifications (must be active at time of submission)
