Candidates with post CABG/open valve replacement care experience will be considered first.

Night Shift – 1 Charge, 6 RNs, 3 LNAs

Patient Ratios – 1:4

4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule (night shift Friday/Saturday plus 2 Sundays. Day shift Saturday/Sunday plus 2 Mondays and/or Fridays). NO on call

Number of Beds – 24

Number of Staff – 45

Type of equipment – 15 bedside monitors, remote telemetry

EMR – Meditech Expanse

Floating Area(s): IVCU, Medical, Surgical, ICU, ED holds- all patients would fit competency of RN

Patient Population: Post CABG/open valve replacements, CHF, AFIB, post cardiac stents, post pacemakers, resp distress, AKI, sepsis, stroke overflow, AMS, endocarditis, ETOH withdrawal
