Travel RN NICU with 2 years experience in a hospital setting required.

Job requirements

Must have active compact license at submission.
Must have Neonatal Phlebotomy experience.
Experience in a level 3 NICU or greater is required.
Advanced skills needed: Mechanical Ventilation including High Frequency Ventilators (Jet or Oscillator) minimum of 3 years, Neonatal Surgical Recovery preferred.
Procedures performed on unit include Circumcision, PDA Ligation, Chest tube placement, ROP Total Body Cooling.

Schedule information

Scheduling requirements: 7P-7A, 3 12 hour shifts, every other weekend.

Unit specific information

Unit staffing description: 24hr Unit Secretary Coverage, 24hr MD coverage
Type of equipment: Primarily Jet based HFV, NAVA ventilators
Documentation system: CPN primary, Meditech secondary
Floating policy: Float to Womens Hospital Units (Peds >1yrs, Newborn Nursery, Tech for Ante or Postpartum)

Additional Details

Dress Code: All navy
Awards/Recognition: JTC Neonatal Certification
Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: New unit opened October 3rd, 2017. 33 private rooms and two open bays.
