    Job requirements
  • Must have BLS
  • At least 5+ years of Experience
  • ONCOLOGY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • EXPERIENCE WITH MEDIPORTS/PICCS/CENTRAL LINES
  • Chemotherapy Certification preferred
  • Meditech experience preferred
    Schedule information
  • Shift Detail: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift/Workdays: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A
  • Weekend: Rotating
  • Call Requirements: No
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hrs.

  • General Information
  • Unit Specifics - Information below is requested for better sourcing:
  • Documentation system: Meditech
  • Floating policy: As needed
  • Procedures performed on unit: Chemotherapy administration, CHG Baths including the central lines and dressings, Central line, mediport access and lab draws, BLOOD PRODUCT TRANSFUSIONS, CHEMO ADMINISTRATION
  • Dress Code: RN: Navy scrubs, Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy, Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed, Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually, Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited
  • Floating Guidelines, Methodist Acknowledgement Form, Attendance Policies, Central line dressing changes, Follow all protocols for temperature, chemo, etc
