- 13 weeks assignment, 2 years experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit required. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.
- Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
- Active NM or compact license required.
- At least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment must be included when submitting candidates.
- Traveler must provide or pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia/Dysrhythmia Assessment (BCA) exam prior to or during the first week of assignment.
- Travelers that do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed.
- 12 hour Day shift position - start time 0700.
- 4 Weekend shifts in a 4 week scheduling period.
- Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
- On call, weekends and holidays may be required.
- Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location and to all areas in which they are trained, including the ED and alternate holding areas to care for appropriate patients, including PresNow ED/UC (freestanding urgent/emergent care facilities).
- Orientation: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
- Scrubs: For RNs ONLY (does not apply to OR as those are provided) RNs may wear ANY solid color.
- NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS.
- Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from the last day worked.
- State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
- ENSURE AN ACCURATE SS# and DOB IS ENTERED. IF NOT, TRAVELER MAY BE PUSHED/AGENCY SUSPENDED (creates I.T. onboarding issues).
