- Competence with SCI/TBI
- Ability to manage patients recovering from neurological impairments such as stroke
- Confident in evaluation, treatment, discharge planning, family training, and equipment prescription
Job requirements
- Monday-Friday, 8-430
- 1 Saturday per month required
- If holiday falls on M-F, required to work unless prior arrangements made
- Not required to work Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day
- Sun-Thurs 8:30a-5p, First to Float
Schedule information
- Primary placement in the Acute Rehab Unit (ARU)
- Float to the Acute Inpatient units pending census
- Float to the acute inpatient hospital, covering cardiac, neuro, med/tele, oncology, and acute surgical floors
Unit specific information
- Modules are required to be done before the start of assignment (3-4 hours non-billable to the hospital)
- Travelers will work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years)
- Unit managers will decide final holiday scheduling
- Must work in Acute Rehab Unit + Main Hospital
- 24 bed inpatient rehab facility in the heart of East Sacramento
- Average length of stay is 13 days
