Job Description

• Clinicians will float between CVICU, ICU, and Step Down Unit depending on need.
• Responsible for assessing the physiological, emotional, and spiritual needs of each patient within the assigned unit area and planning nursing care to meet those needs.
• Conducts patient evaluation, performs documentation of patient progress, treatment planning, and discharge functions.

Requirements

• Experience:

  • 2 years of current CVICU experience - REQUIRED
  • Neuro, vascular, thoracic, and neurosurgery experience - REQUIRED
• Licensure:

  • Copy of agency's IL nursing license included in submission - REQUIRED
• Vaccination:

  • COVID and FLU vaccination required - DECLINATIONS WILL NOT BE APPROVED

• Preferred Experience:

  • Prior Cerner experience - strongly preferred
