- Unit Type: 37 bed Med/Surg unit
- Patient Populations:
- Respiratory distress
- Possible sepsis
- UTI
- Cellulitis
- Change in mental status
- Pain
- Generalized weakness
- Abnormal labs
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years; no first-time travelers
- Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA Provider Certification preferred
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
- CHEMO (Chemotherapy)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
- NIH Stroke Certification
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
- Unit-Specific Competency Exam
