Job Description

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
• First-time travelers accepted
• Cerner experience preferred
• Same-day offers available
• Patient-to-nurse ratio: 1:5
• Every other weekend requirement
• Floating between units is required

Required Certifications

• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• BLS - Basic Life Support
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (if applicable)
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (if applicable)
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course (effective 11/5/2024 for ER RNs)
• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring (required for L&D RNs)
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute (for Psych/Behavioral Health RNs)

Additional Requirements

• Proof of I-9 or Attestation
• Photo ID (Driver's License/State ID)
• E-Verify documentation
• State License Verification
• NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
• Background Check
• Drug Testing
• TB Testing
• Vaccination documentation (e.g., Tdap, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B)
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption

Competencies

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
• Competency Exam as applicable to profession/specialty

Documentation

• Resume with at least 7 years of employment history
• Professional references (2 required)
• New Hire Packet
• Access and Confidentiality Agreement

Health Documents

• Physical Exam (within 1 year of start)
• Fit Mask testing (if applicable)
• COVID-19 vaccination (not required as of 11/21/23)
