• Orientation: Every Monday
• Shifts: 3x12 Night
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend; 6 weekend shifts in each 6-week schedule (Friday & Saturday nights).

Job Description

• Position: Emergency Room RN
• Patient Ratio: 1:4-6
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BCLS (Basic Life Support)
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Required Skills

• General Emergency Department experience (Combined Adult/Pedi)
• Conscious Sedation
• Telemetry
• Ventilator management
• Ability to function in triage and charge roles
• Experience with Cerner EMR system

Additional Information

• Scrubs: Not provided (Color: Royal Blue)
• Flu Vaccine: Required for all employees

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical Exam: Annual physical stating the candidate is able to perform work without accommodations and is free from communicable diseases.
• N95 Fit Test: Required within 9 months of start and updated annually.
• Vaccinations:

  • Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB or Chest X-Ray (within a year)
  • MMR (2 vaccines or positive titer)
  • Hepatitis B (titer, series, or signed declination)
  • Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
  • COVID-19 Vaccination (Dose 1 and 2 if applicable)

Background and Reference Checks

• Criminal background check required within 90 days of start.
• Two positive supervisory references required, including one from the most recent assignment.

Work History and Education Verification

• Minimum of two years of experience required, with at least one travel assignment or one month of per diem assignment.
• Education verification as required by the position.
