Job Description

Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Caseload: Mostly adult patients with an average of 5-10 pediatric patients per week
Experience Required: Experience with Pediatric Echocardiograms (Pedi Echos) is required.

Certifications Required

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
BLS - Basic Life Support
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (as applicable)
CHEMO - Chemotherapy (as applicable)
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course (required for ER; ICU RNs have 1 year to obtain for longer-term assignments)
EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring (as applicable)
HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement
NIH Stroke Certification (required for ICU and PCU)
Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
Competency Exam (as applicable)

Health Documents Required

Physical Exam - Required within 1 year of start
Fit Test - Required within 6 months prior to start
TDAP Vaccine - Required within 10 years of start
Negative TB or Chest X-Ray - Required within 1 year of start
TB Questionnaire - Required for all candidates
Vaccination Records - Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
Drug Testing - Required within 30 days
Flu Seasonal Vaccination/Documentation - Required during flu season
COVID-19 Vaccination - Initial series required

Background and History Requirements

Background Check - Required within 30 days of start
EPLS/GSA/SAM - Required within 30 days of start
HHS/OIG - Required within 30 days of start
References - 2 references required within 3 years of start
