Job Description

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. On-call requirement includes a weekend shift every 6 weeks from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, followed by on-call from 4:30 PM to 8 PM.
  • Experience Required:
    • Valid MA LCSW preferred.
    • Medical social work experience, particularly within the emergency department.
    • Previous experience in maternity delivery and NICU preferred.

  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
  • NALS - Neonatal Advanced Life Support
  • Tech Cert Verification - National (required within 30 days of start)
  • State License Verification (required within 30 days of start)
  • NURSYS Verification (required within 30 days prior to start)
  • Background Check (7-year criminal background check required within 30 days of start)

Health Documents

  • Physical Exam (required within 12 months of start)
  • TB Questionnaire (required for all candidates)
  • Drug Testing (required within 30 days of start)
  • Flu Seasonal Vaccination/Documentation (required prior to start during Flu Season)

Additional Requirements

  • Valid ID is required.
  • Time-sensitive requirements for photo identification and MA Statewide (iCORI) Release.
  • References: 2 references within three years of start.
  • Employment application must include 7 years of employment history and explanation of gaps greater than 30 days.

Additional Information

  • Candidates must pass medication and telemetry exams on the first day of orientation.
  • Declinations for certain vaccinations are not accepted for specific departments (Peds, Maternity, NICU).
  • Compliance with facility-specific documents and health requirements is mandatory.
