Must have oncology experience
Sickle cell experience and chemo certified are strongly preferred
36 or 48 hours per week
Targeted patient ratios are 1:4, but they can be up to 1:5-6
Must Float to all Stepdown/Advanced Care units
Must have EPIC experience

Job requirements

Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment
BLS & ACLS - must be able to read and interpret strips
Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed
1.5 years exp and some level 1 or 2 preferred
Travel experience preferred

Schedule information

NO BLOCK SCHEDULE
Traveler must be available to work every other weekend/holiday
Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 3 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract/2 shifts for an 8-week contract
Premier Health reserves the right to cancel agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine

Unit specific information

Mixed acuity with Med Surg and Advanced Care patients
Oncology and hematology specialization

Additional Details

Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion
Agency will float in/out of specialty clusters
It will be assigned a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated to, including high-risk respiratory unit/COVID
Navy Blue Scrubs required
