Job Description

The Clinical Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) position is ideal for candidates with strong Charge Nurse experience and recent clinical skills. The role involves direct patient care and support for new staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct care and education for nursing staff
• Assessing, planning, coordinating, evaluating, and delegating nursing activities
• Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure quality patient-centered outcomes
• Utilizing critical thinking and independent decision-making in patient care
• Committing to operational excellence and safe, reliable care

Shift Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 3 x 12-hour shifts, with additional hours for meetings and administrative tasks

Requirements

• Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or obtained within five years from the initial date of hire)
  • Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
• Licensure:

  • Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement
• Certifications:

  • Current BLS certification
  • ACLS, NALS, PALS, or TNCC certification as required by the facility
  • Certification in specialty area required within one year
• Experience:

  • Minimum of three years in an acute care setting
