  • SLUH is a Level 1 Trauma, Stroke and STEMI Center
  • Academic Facility
  • Unit Procedures include: Shockwave, Angiovac, kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, Y90 treatments, trans jugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunts, direct intrahepatic portosystemic shunt, balloon occluded retrograde transvenous obliterations, Spaceoar, trans jugular liver biopsy, adreno samplings, carotid and vertebral stents, vasospasms, drain placements, onyx embolization
  • Census: Avg 20 cases per day, 6 IR rooms
  • Years of experience required: 1 year of IR Experience plus 1 year of ED or ICU experience
  • First-timers accepted: YES
  • Locals not accepted
  • Pending License accepted: YES
  • RTO Restrictions: RTO must be submitted with application. Any RTO requested after signing at manager discretion
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed. Facility permitted 40 hours of low census/cancel per contract
  • EPIC: Required
    Job requirements
  • 1 year of IR Experience plus 1 year of ED or ICU experience
  • ACLS, BCLS certifications required
  • RTO must be submitted with application
    Schedule information
  • Weekend requirement: Weekend call
  • On-call requirement: Call is assigned average 8-10 days per month which includes a weekend.
    Unit specific information
