SLUH is a Level 1 Trauma, Stroke and STEMI Center
Academic Facility
Unit Procedures include: Shockwave, Angiovac, kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, Y90 treatments, trans jugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunts, direct intrahepatic portosystemic shunt, balloon occluded retrograde transvenous obliterations, Spaceoar, trans jugular liver biopsy, adreno samplings, carotid and vertebral stents, vasospasms, drain placements, onyx embolization
Census: Avg 20 cases per day, 6 IR rooms
Years of experience required: 1 year of IR Experience plus 1 year of ED or ICU experience
First-timers accepted: YES
Locals not accepted
Pending License accepted: YES
RTO Restrictions: RTO must be submitted with application. Any RTO requested after signing at manager discretion
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed. Facility permitted 40 hours of low census/cancel per contract
EPIC: Required

Job requirements

1 year of IR Experience plus 1 year of ED or ICU experience
ACLS, BCLS certifications required
RTO must be submitted with application

Schedule information

Weekend requirement: Weekend call
On-call requirement: Call is assigned average 8-10 days per month which includes a weekend.
