  • McLaren Northern has incorporated a strict 3 strike attendance policy to advocate for their patient population. Any RN contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift 3 times will be terminated effective immediately. This policy will begin on 6/1/2024.
  • Level 2 North is a 28-bed Medical Surgical Unit with a diverse patient population consisting of general and vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, plastic surgery, trauma, and is the stroke unit for the hospital.
    Job requirements
  • 2+ Years of experience - Required
  • Travel - highly preferred
  • Michigan license verification is required for nurses.
  • Full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
    Unit specific information
  • Two North has an active and engaged Unit Based Council that promotes a healthy work environment of teamwork and positivity.
  • New team members are welcomed and supported in their orientation, as they learn and grow in their professional nursing practice.
