Job Description

Cheshire Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. The facility is a 169-bed regional referral center that partners with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene to provide primary and specialty care throughout southwestern New Hampshire.

Patient Care

• Patient Population: Adolescent to Geriatric
• RN to Patient Ratio: 2 to 1
• Unit Beds: 10
• Level of Care: Level III Trauma

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of current ICU experience
• Skills:

  • Proficient with IV Drips, Ventilators, Hemodynamic Monitoring, and Vaso Pressures
  • Arterial Line experience
  • Charge and preceptor abilities are a plus
• Certifications:

  • Current Nursys
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
• Additional: Must have a valid New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate uploaded with the profile.

Additional Information

• Orientation: Non-billable orientation with no multipliers for overtime or holidays.
• Travel Requirements:

  • Must have own vehicle
  • Local travelers (those residing within 50 miles of the facility) will not be considered.
• Time Off: Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at upload; no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted.
• Training: As of 1/1/24, all new and returning agency staff must have de-escalation training as part of their onboarding.
