Acts as clinical supervisor for all departments, coordinates staffing for on-coming shifts, serves as subject matter expert in clinical nursing departments, resource for all staff
Minimum of 3 years house supervisor or manager experience, travel experience required, Prefer strong ED/Trauma background but will consider MS/ICU experience
3 years experience required
Travel experience required
Will be responsible for arranging transfers
Will be required to mix medications

Schedule information

12-hour shift, 0630-1900
Self-scheduling allowed to an extent, must meet the staffing needs and may need to move a shift
Weekend Requirements: 2 of 6
Holiday Requirements: Yes (if contract through Dec 31, would expect them to work one holiday)
No call or standby requirement
3 shifts of unit/department specific orientation with support of managers after orientation via phone/in-person if needed

Additional Details

No clinical involvement
Bed Management system: Non-managed small scale
EMR: Meditech
Will take on some 'charge' nurse duties
Hospitalist and 2 ED providers in-house
Any color scrub/dress code
Radius Rule: 50 miles AND no association with any facility connected to CommonSpirit including CHI and/or Dignity
RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions
