Job Description
- Seeking a Travel RN with experience in Oncology.
- Experience Required: 2 years in a hospital setting.
- Licensure: Must have an active compact license at submission.
- Certifications: BLS required.
Unit Information
- Unit: Oncology Care Unit
- Number of Beds: 25
- Patient Ratios: 1:4-1:5
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling Requirements: 7P-7A, 3 twelve-hour shifts, every third weekend.
Additional Information
- Staffing Description: Patient care technicians available on most shifts.
- Advanced Skills Needed: Ability to access portacath or willingness to learn.
- Dress Code: All navy.
- Unit Guidelines/Policies: One day and one night shift granted PTO at one time; work every third weekend.

The floor can be chaotic. Very fast paced if you aren’t used to 10-12 deliveries a night. I didn’t mind it but if you aren’t used to multiple deliveries a night you won’t make it.
