Role: Interventional Radiology Technician

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience.

Monitor patients, provide sedation and assist anesthesiologist with general anesthesia for common procedures such as stroke intervention, diagnostic and therapeutic angiography, kyphoplasties, biopsies, drains, clot retrieval, aneurysm coilings and stents.

Provides nursing services to Neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and families.

Requires scientific knowledge base and ongoing growth and learning.

This position provides optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the context of the nursing process.

The incumbent is accountable for individualized patient outcomes over an entire episode of care.

The RN coordinates care between other professionals as needed.

State of Nevada Radiation Control Program License will need to be obtained prior to start.

Call Requirements: Call is required on some nights and some weekends

Will be expected to work 2/3 major holidays unless RTO is requested/approved

Renown has the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours, for low census per 13-week contract. This may be full or partial shifts.

Schedule varies based upon department needs. Schedule can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.
