• Staffing:

  • Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician, 1 midlevel per pod
  • Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician, 1 midlevel per pod
• Patient Ratios:

  • Average: 3:1
  • Low acuity: 5:1
  • Pediatrics: Team nursing
• Equipment: Alaris
• EMR: Meditech

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Must Have:

  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, NIH certifications
  • Kansas RN License
  • Experience in traveling or at large facility areas

• Preferred:

  • TNCC certification
  • Meditech experience
  • Experience in a 52-bed ER or larger

• IV starts
• Medication administration
• Sedations
• Pediatrics
