Job Description

• Unit: MS/Tele Cardiac 6N
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Unit Size: 42-bed unit focusing on Cardiac Telemetry
• Patient Population:

  • Predominantly cardiac patients (chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, cardiac arrhythmias)
  • Variety of medical patients (pneumonia, GI issues, COPD, diabetes, occasional stroke)
  • Surgical patients

Responsibilities

• Must be willing to float to other units/hospitals.
• Provide patient-centered care to support recovery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Education:

  • Associate degree in nursing
• Certifications:

  • AHA BLS
• Licenses:

  • Registered Nurse in Alabama or Compact License
• Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, or 18 months with 1 year in the specialty field.
